A Brief History

Welcome to our website!

Bill & and I have compiled our favorite art pieces into a gallery for you to see and enjoy.Bill and I met after I graduated from VCU at my first art job. We married soon after.“I married an artist! How cool is that?”

I attended Virginia Commonwealth University and received a BFA in Communications Art & Design with an emphasis in Advanced Illustration.

My illustration techniques include: acrylic painting, water coloring, pastel painting, graphite/colored pencil renderings, mixed media and computer generated art using Corel Draw.

I have designed and put together a half dozen children’s book proposals and collaborated with another two other authors. I have been developing and illustrating these children’s stories with illustrations which are in various stages of completion.

I developed a puppet ministry for a children’s outreach using characters from one of my children’s stories. My efforts include; designing and making the puppets, writing the scripts for theater, being a puppeteer, designing and illustrating an activity/coloring book with the salvation message to hand out after theater.

More recently I have been collaborating with a screenwriter on a feature length animation.

I’m a Christian and have walked with Jesus Christ since high school and haven’t looked back. My heart’s desire is to be used by God with the talents He’s given me.
